The Original STORM Platform
The original CopaSAT STORM introduced a MIL-STD-810H-certified, transportable, ruggedized SATCOM solution featuring flat-panel antenna technology and integrated modem and BUC. Designed for Ku-band mobile operations, it enabled reliable connectivity on the move and on the pause with automatic satellite acquisition and a fully integrated mobile hotspot.
Evolving The Platform
STORM v2 continued the evolution of CopaSAT’s mobile SATCOM platforms, incorporating enhancements based on real-world feedback from fielded STORM systems. While no longer sold as a current product, STORM v2 remains in service with select customers and represents a key step in the progression toward today’s STORM V3 and STORM MINI offerings.
